You are correct: the latest SVN seems to read the file just fine (even seeing
the packets, at least with the way I added the newlines).

(I do agree that the the format appears a bit different than the files in the
Wiki).

(I mistakenly did my test with a Wireshark v0.99.6A window I had open for some
other testing I was doing).

I think your original guess is correct; Possibly the problem reported might
have been due to moving the tcptrace file from VMS to Windows using a binary
ftp or something similar.
