Could you try uninstalling Wireshark and reinstalling and choosing the GTK1
option instead of GTK2 and see if that makes any difference?  (GTK is the
library we use for displaying the GUI, GTK1 looks much worse but I'm wondering
if that is the cause of the slowness).
