You might also want to try running "windump -D" to try to isolate the problem
to either Wireshark or WinPcap:
http://www.winpcap.org/windump/install/default.htm. WinDump is a small
executable that doesn't require installation.

Also, can you run "sc query npf" from a command prompt and send us the output?
