http://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1580
Summary: wireshark hangs when performing rtp analysis on attached
file
Product: Wireshark
Version: SVN
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: Medium
Component: Wireshark
AssignedTo: wireshark-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: mike.oliveras@xxxxxxxxx
Build Information:
The reported problem occurs with the 0.99.5 win32 binary obtained from the
wireshark web site. I then tried it with the latest SVN build to see if the
issue had already been resolved. The info for the SVN version is shown below:

The attatched patch (which I will attach momentarily) shows an MGCP VoIP call.
It was captured with a Sigtek DOCSIS sniffer so to view it properly you will
have to check "Treat all Frames as DOCSIS frames" under Edit->Preferences->
Protocols->Frame.
If I try to perform an RTP analysis of the call (Statistics->RTP->Show all
streams) and then analyze one of the streams, wireshark hangs.
