Title: Capturing and analyzing RTP streams (Intern)

Hi

When capturing data containing several concurrent voice streams(G.711 coded voice sent as RTP-packets) and then running "Statistics - RTP - Show all streams", Ethereal reports lost packets in most of the RTP streams. Investigation using other tools shows no lost packets in the rtp-streams.

Is it possible that ethereal itself  "loose" packets and shows packet loss in rtp-streams that actually have no packet loss? If yes, is the reason for this unsufficient CPU power in the server running Ethereal?

Thanks for the help.

Regards
