Why not upgrading to 0.99.2? This fixed the bug AFAIK.
Note that the 0.99.2 Ulf refers to is Wireshark 0.99.2 . That's because Ethereal is no longer maintained, all work has moved to Wireshark http://www.wireshark.org .
