When you say "packet information"... what kind do you want to show

because NAM (in the NS package), can show you a packet traversing a network.  You can setup a TCP connection for instance and it will show you the 3 way handshake, and then the slow-start mechanism, and ACK's coming back.

Not sure what you want.
