I think '®' characters makes problem. Is it possible to alternate this default location to a new location?
The char *is* certainly the problem (Unicode char?) and it was fixed recently. 
I don't know a way to change this default location, except creating a 
new user account.

But you may simply try a recent developers version where the bug should 
be fixed already.
