Hello.
 
When I am trying to run Ethereal, no packets are being captured.  In the capture tab it lists the Generic Dial up Adapter.  I can’t get the program to sniff with my NIC.  I am student trying to monitor and analyze different types of traffic that are going to and from my PC.  I have trouble-shooted for quite some time and have had no such luck.  I have administrator privileges.  When I tried to install WinCap 3.1 I got a message that it was already on my machine and it aborted.  Please help me utilize this program.
