Please provide some help on this one.

 

Previously I’ve had ethereal running fine.

But whenever I recently started it again it came up with this error message.

 

“Can’t get list of interfaces: PacketGetAdapterNames: the operation completed succesfully”

 

After de-installation of both win pcap and ethereal

Download of latest version  (windows) of ethereal (with win pcap)

After installation of this latest version (0.10.4)

I still have this same message, whenever I try to start a new capture.

 

Opening old, existing capture-files is not a problem, this works fine.

 

Any help is welcome,
