Then, if the GTK+ package came from fink, you should, as per my previous mail, you should ask the fink.sourceforge.net people about this problem; they need to make their GTK+ package support loading XPM images in order for it to be usable by Ethereal.

You may be able to recreate this file by running pango-querymodules.
That appears to be *another* problem with their GTK+ module; you should ask them about that as well.
