I have a Dell 3024 switch, so I hope the answer isn't going to be that much off target.
When I log onto the switch, one of the choices I have at the main menu is 'Port Mirroring'.
When I select that menu, I am asked  to enter the 'source port' and the 'monitor port'.
I believe for your answer the 'source port' would be to identify port 5 and the monitor port is 11.
Mirroring is a toggle on/off choice using the spacebar when that choice is selected.
Hope this works for your model of switch also.

Subject: [Ethereal-users] Capture packets from other port of Dell SW3324-need help

Hi all,

I set up the port monitor for dell switch 3324, destination port 1/e11, source port 1/e5. I run ethereal on destination port 1/e11 and select Ethernet interface for capture (interfaces of source port 1/e5 not appeared)   but I did not receive any packets from source port 1/e5. I read through the documentation & FAQ and I did not find any answer. I need help. Any one has this problem before? And if I capture traffic on destination port I will receive all packets from destination and source ports at the same time?

Thanks in advance
