Hi,

Hopefully the display filter 'sip.resend == 0' will eliminate most duplicate packets if you're seeing SIP over UDP.  It takes into account addresses as well as the callid so that it can work with more than one leg of a proxied call in the same capture.  Provisional responses won't be marked as resends, however.

Martin

Subject: [Ethereal-users] How to clean duplicate msg. in a SIP call based onCall-ID (w/mor e than 1 invite)?

Hello Colleagues

I'm working here with sniffer for SIP calls and because we're taking the packets from a router mirror port, I'm receiving duplicate packets for the call flow. I can filter the call flow from different "invite" based on the "Call-ID", but it's quite hard to find and use this way.

My questions is: is there any script to clean this duplicate messages based on the call-id; also considering that depends on the call, it's possible to have more than 1 invite?

Thanks,
Rubens
