Didn't see this addressed in either the FAQ or Docs.  I'd like to generate various protocol and conversation statistics over a fairly lengthy period of time.  As the capture files quickly become unwieldy in size, I'd like the ability to capture data into multiple smaller files (say 100MB), then perform a variety of statistical analyses on the entire dataset.  Is there any way for ethereal to work in this fashion where it would stream in the capture data file-by-file, discard the data on closed/completed/timed-out sessions, carry forward both the metadata related to the analysis underway and 'open' sessions, then provide a summary report on the entirety of the dataset rather than reporting piecemeal information per file?
