Hi,

I have the same problem (with WinXP Prof - SP2) and so I've posted the same
error message a few weeks ago. No answers so far. Now I'm using version 10.0
which is the newest one without the error you described. :( The problem also
occurs with the 0.10.7 prerelease.

Edit->Preferences always causes crash and leaves error message in
Edit->console:

and below error message in pop-up window: 

** ERROR **: file shape.c: line 75 (pango_shape): assertion failed:
(glyphs->num_glyphs > 0) 
aborting... 


All other funktion are ok except the Edit->Preferences

This issue happens on my PC run Windows XP Prof. SP1 

i have tryed both version (0.10.5 and 0.10.6), same error.
