Ethereal-users: Re: [Ethereal-users] WinXP/2K crash on startup - only with Gtk-wimp enabled
Hi All,
I have not enabled Gtk-Wimp, but I found it still crashing !!! :(
[PS: By default installation did not enable Gtk-Wimp and I did not
enable it too :)]
So, I have done the followed recommendation from Lars

I just renamed my Personal Configuration directory
from : C:\Documents and Settings\lnrao\Application Data\Ethereal
to: C:\Documents and Settings\lnrao\Application Data\__Ethereal__
And just clicked on ethereal icon......It crashed....!!! :(
-------------------------------------------------------------------
As of now neither of the solutions has worked out.
Can anybody guess what could be the problem.
I just thought of trying to see what exactly could be the problem.
I did not work with nmakes before. If anybody as some DSP or DSW file
that MSVC can open. I would be very happy to get help in getting a DSW
or DSP
file, so that I could check what exactly is the problem in my
environment.
Thank you,
[PS: DSP, DSW - MSVC Project & Work Space Files]
