although the instructions aren't up-to-date - there may be some other
cards supported on Linux (and the instructions on putting cards into
monitor mode need more detail), and on FreeBSD 5.2 and later, and NetBSD
2.0-beta, some other cards are supported, and on Windows, in that it
*MIGHT* be possible to capture them in promiscuous mode with Centrino
802.11 interfaces (as per a patch submitted by somebody to the 802.11
dissector to handle those packets), but pretty much everywhere else on
Windows you're out of luck.
