I don't get any crash with the HotSIP messages I have.
I have tried with Ethereal 0.10.3 and some other versions.
But my captures are maybe from an older version of HotSIP than you are
using, or there may be some other difference.
My captured SIP-messages indicates Hotsip-CallTron/2.4.0.625  (and it is SIP
over UDP).

At least one crash problem has been solved in SIP-dissector after 0.10.3 was
released.
I guess that it might be the same problem as you have,
but to be sure could you send a sample capture so that we can test it with
current cvs version.
