On a distribution with a sufficiently recent version of libpcap, I
expect it will be able to capture on interfaces using "classical IP"; I
don't know whether, if there are any LANE implementations for Linux, you
could capture on LANE interfaces.

You will probably not be able to see *all* the ATM traffic, only the
traffic that goes through the Linux networking stack (i.e., you will
probably see IP traffic, and you will probably *not*, for example, see
signalling traffic).
