Ethereal supports many other formats, including Token Ring, Frame Relay,
HDLC, and ATM.

I did the original support for Visual Networks file formats and didn't
include ATM because I was pressed for time.  There seems to be some
interest, so I'll try to get it into a future release.

i think ethereal is for ethernet format ?
the atm packet are not the same philosophie

I don't know - the code to read Visual Networks files was contributed by
Tom Nisbet of Visual Networks.  You might want to ask him.
