Wireshark · Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] automated printing to a file?

Hi,
    I'm wondering if anyone knows how to use tethereal (or ethereal) to
automatically print a capture to a plain text formatted file.  I want to
write a script that will invoke tethereal, capture for a certain
duration, and print the contents to a plain text file.    I can get the
script to automatically save the file but I don't know how to get it to
print it to a plain text file.  Any help would be appreciated.
