0.9.5 compiles just fine on Solaris/SPARC, if you have GTK+ 1.2[.x] and
GLib 1.2[.x] and libpcap installed (if you install any of them from a
binary package, you'd need to install "developer's packages" to get
header files if you're going to compile programs such as Ethereal that
use them).

So if you're willing to compile Ethereal (and possibly the supporting
libraries) yourself, it'll be decoded as soon as you finish the
compilation.  :-)

I can't speak for The Written Word or anybody else who prepares binary
packages of Ethereal, so I can't say when they'll have binary packages.
