Could you do the following?  (The exact steps may be different depending
on the version of Windows you're running.)

  - Right-click on the Ethereal icon on your desktop, and select
    "Properties".

  - Select the "Shortcut" tab.

  - Click on the "Change Icon..." button.

  - If the path to ethereal.exe isn't listed in the file name entry box,
    click the "Browse..." button and navigate to it.

This will list the icon resources that are part of ethereal.exe.  You
should only see the round Ethereal logo in the selection list.  If you
see Monty Burns, your executable has likely been modified in some way.
The size of ethereal.exe installed from the 0.9.3-1 installer on a machine
here at work is 6,650,932 bytes.  What is its size on your machine?
