Hi,

 

First let me say that everyone involved has done a wonderful job. Keep up the great work.

 

I used the 0.8.0.20 release with excellent results on am AMD 633MHZ processor with great results. As a matter of fact, you allowed me to catch a few folks hacking away into my machine. I then proceeded to use this on a dell Latitude laptop with great results. My desk top is running Windows XP Professional. The lap top takes advantage of the Windows 2000 operating system. For both machines, I decided to try out the beta 2.3 version of Wincap without a problem. So when I saw the newer release 0.9.0.0 and 0.9.0.1, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to try them both. On both machines, I experienced very dismal results. The response was very sluggish in both live captures and displaying captures from sniffer and netmon traces. I have tried to roll back the wincap on the Win 2000 machine with similar results. I tried it on a third machine with a fresh operating system (Win XP) with similar results. This particular problem seem unique to the newer 0.9.0.0 code. Any chance you can shed some light on what may be causing this?
