But it's always worth checking. Because they just might have.

Another partial solution: Write a server that you require to be run by every
machine on the network. (That's the difficulty.) The server accepts raw
Ethernet II packets with an "unused" frame type. When a machine receives
such a packet it flashes it's screen and plays Yankey Doodle Dandy at max
volume. (It'd be great for Friday afternoons too ;-)
