Looking at the ethereal website, it looks like a great capture
tool which I could use.
The problem is that I am definately not a programmer, and do
not have the time to learn.
It looks to me like the download is beyond me. I dont want to
load a compiler, and assemble the code myself. Cant I just download an idiots
version.?
Is there a one click windows version available thats as easy
to download as getting an upgrade from the Microsoft website.?
I'm strictly a hardware guy, I want a packet capture to
reinforce my knowledge of TCP/IP, and network faultfinding. I do not have the
skills to add any source code or contribute any modifications.
I suspect your answer might be "this is not the product for
you,- go out and purchase Net-X RAy or Sniffer- I hope not because I cant afford
this software.
