Dear Dave,
I am certain that the Cisco Aironet350 can
do Raw 802.11….just that my linux is still too raw to get it right.
You can’t do that in Win2k bcos of
the drivers.
I asked that before and was kindly
enlightened by Guy Harris and a few others.
Hope this will help you too.
Darren

Ethereal, Cisco350 and Red-Hat7.2
Probably a poor choice in
network cards. I think there is a problem putting wireless cards in promiscuous
mode. I know I can't capture data on mine in win2k ?

Ethereal, Cisco350 and Red-Hat7.2
Dear All,
After following some of
the posts here and much frustrations with trying to get raw mode in Windows, I
have decided to learn Linux instead.
So, I have gotten all
these already: Red-Hat 7.2, Cisco Aironet350, a notebook that works, and
Ethereal(included in RH7.2).
What do I have to do now
to capture in Raw mode??
Any Advise?
Thanx
Darren
