It doesn't support capturing the raw data stream on a serial port; it
can only capture on network interfaces.

On *some* OSes, it can capture on PPP network interfaces.  (It can't do
so on Windows NT; note that Windows 2000 and Windows XP are really
Windows NT 5.0 and Windows NT 5.1, so you can't capture on PPP
interfaces on those OSes.)
