Did you try -with-ssl=/path/to/ssl
Eg if libcrypto is in /usr/local/ssl/lib this would be
-with-ssl=/usr/local/ssl
Does RH 7.1 have libcrypto.a or only libcrypto.so? If it does you need a
nightly CVS tarball since the fixes are more recent than the latest official
release..
