Hi,

Is there any workaround for this error on Win 9x or WinNT

Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_text_size: gdk_nmbstowchar_ts failed

The error occurs when opening a TCPDump capture file <filename>.DMP written to
disk using Windump or TCPDump. Relevant threads are here

Ethereal versions 0.8.16 or earlier do not have this problem. The same DMP
file opens without error on Ethereal versions prior to 0.8.16.

Ethereal versions 0.8.17, 0.8.17a, and 0.8.18 produce the error.

Any help appreciated. I really miss using all the neat features in the latest
versions of Ethereal.
