Hi there,
I have a stupid problem. I checked out ethereal from CVS, but I
got no configure script.
I tried to build one from configure.in but autoconf (2.13) gives
errors and the resulting configure is not running:

# autoconf --version
Autoconf version 2.13
# autoconf
cconfigure.in:306: warning: AC_TRY_RUN called without default to allow cross compiling
autoconf: Undefined macros:
configure.in:135:AC_ETHEREAL_ADD_DASH_L(LDFLAGS, /usr/local/lib)
configure.in:182:AC_ETHEREAL_GETHOSTBY_LIB_CHECK
configure.in:186:AC_ETHEREAL_SOCKET_LIB_CHECK
configure.in:197: AC_ETHEREAL_PCAP_CHECK
configure.in:209: AC_ETHEREAL_ZLIB_CHECK
configure.in:225: AC_ETHEREAL_IPV6_STACK
configure.in:260: AC_ETHEREAL_UCDSNMP_CHECK
configure.in:303:AC_ETHEREAL_STRUCT_SA_LEN
configure.in:441:AC_LIBTOOL_DLOPEN
# ./configure
loading cache ./config.cache
./configure: line 539: syntax error near unexpected token `AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(ethereal,'
./configure: line 539: `AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(ethereal, 0.8.12)'

Any hints?

Thanks.
