i just compiled the 0.8.4 version and i'still
getting a strange effect with suse 6.3
which is : it is slow.
after completing a scan it takes ethereal really
long to load the temp scan file.

i'm also using ethereal with mandrake 6.1 and it is working much faster
there (on a slower machine)

i got suse 6.3 (2.2.13), ethereal 0.8.4 and also the libpcap patch.

any tips ?
