ethereal 0.8.1 / 0.8.2

Hi,
I observed something similar as Lothar. I compiled all the source code
on my machine (with standard optimization and then with -O3). Live
capturing of connections to localhost work absolutely perfect. They are
immediately displayed. However, capturing a PPP session (ippp0 on the
ISDN card), something like four or six packets are displayed and then
the application blocks (no repaint of the app window etc).
After I pressed stop capturing, I had to wait approx 15-20 seconds, then
ethereal was up again. It also displayed all the packets (I think there
was no data loss).
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Claus
