Type one or more blanks into the "Filter:" field in the dialog box that
"Capture:Start" pops up before pressing "OK".  There's a bug in the RH
6.1 libpcap that causes it not to capture any packets if no capture
filter is specified, and Ethereal specifies no capture filter if the
"Filter:" field is completely empty - but does supply a filter if it's
not completely empty, even if it's blank.  The filter supplied when it's
blank should capture all packets.

0.8.1 will always supply a filter, even if the "Filter:" field is empty
(again, if it's blank, which includes empty, the filter should capture
all packets).
