quite correct.
(and i'm positive that the frames are traversing the interface i'm
tracing,  they show up in tcpdump, for example)

just to make sure, i tried this with the latest version i checked out of
cvs about 10 minutes ago.

the problem still occurs in precisely the same manner.
i am, of course, logged in as root.

any other questions i can answer?
(btw,  i have also applied all redhat's official erratum issued to date)

i did try opening up a saved trace, and that seems to work nicely...

hope i can help pinpoint it...
