Hello,

I forgot to say I want to run ethereal on a linux-system (SuSE 5.3), and
´bindtextdomain´ is a part of gettext there. I installed gettext, but the same
error occured.

the system says:

bash: ldd: command not found

I tried to run

./configure --disable-nls

but I don´t know if configure supports this feature. And the compiled result
is the same..

What can I do to resolve the error?

Thanks a lot for helping :)

Kind regards
                   Bjoern
