When using -S, the UI sometimes freezes for "long" periods.  It does seem
eventually to come back to life.  By "long," I mean 10 to 20 seconds or more
(I didn't measure the time accurately).  This freezing occurs before and
after making the init_mib() change.

Has anything like this behavior been reported against 0.7.2?
