I have some Token-Ring captures in a file.
I'd like to read the file and apply a display filter
Typing stuff in the "Filter" window in the status bar
at the bottom has no effect.
(though I can save and retrieve my definitions)

How do I apply a display filter?

 Ethereal 0.6.3
 RedHat Linux 6.0,
 Madge Token Ring drivers
 Madge PCMCIA 16/4 ringnode
