Hello Jaap,

I second the idea of submitting reviewed "dead code" bugs identified by Coverity to the Ethereal Bugzilla database. Another option is to post a request for review on specific "dead code" bugs we reviewed but were unable to fix ( e.g. due to lack of acquaintance with a given protocol).

Best regards,

Olivier

Hi list,

Would it be wise to get the Coverity records signalling dead code and
which are tagged as bugs into the Ethereal bug database?
These are tricky bugs, but are not likely to present a security risk,
hence publication isn't a problem. Larger exposure of these tricky bugs
can get them 'in view' of the person who knows about that code or
protocol with a higher chance of getting a repair.

Thanx,
Jaap
