Hello.  I have a situation where the Authorization header field in a SIP message has a great many authentication credentials in it so that the single line display in the Ethereal GUI is very very long.  Not only that, part of this actual header field is missing.  In the attached JPG you can see that although I scrolled to the far right, I do not see all the authentication credentials.  I have to look at the hex dump area to see the whole header.

 

My recommendation is to make this particular header field an expandable tree so that each credential separated by commas becomes a new line in the GUI.  Then on the unexpanded main line, list the first few items followed by “…” (dot dot dot) to indicate to me that I am not seeing all of the header credentials and will need to expand the tree.
