Hi List!

While trying to write a better Wiki article "How to Setup a capture", I had a look the FAQ to get some things I might have forgotten.

Well, looking deeper into the FAQ, I've found really lot's of things in desperate need of improving.

22 pages of Frequently Asked Questions doesn't even invite to search for the answer a user might have.

Lot's of things are pretty much outdated, some examples:

"This is a bug in Ethereal 0.10.5 and 0.10.5a, which is fixed in Ethereal 0.10.6 and later releases."
"Versions of WinPcap prior to 2.3 are based on pre-0.6 versions of libpcap"

Answering "ancient" questions (about versions more than a year ago) which doesn't really appear frequently right now should be simply removed IMHO (these are not frequently asked).

Some things shouldn't be answered in the FAQ, but should point to other places:

"Q1.5 What protocols are currently supported?" Shouldn't list the protocols but simply point to the (T)Ethereal output to keep things small (this list is more than about half of the entire FAQ page!!!). Same applies to the file formats Q1.8. If we don't have a automatically generated list of file formats in Ethereal, we might want to add it.

Removing irrelevant things will make the current FAQ information a lot more relevant.
