I reply again!
One thing I thought... about XML dissection and unknown media types...
the tvbparser library I wrote as a base for the XML dissector can
easily be used to heuristically recognize XML without the need to
actually tell ethereal that a media type is xml.
We need to make another "mini-grammar" for xml without callbacks.
I think that looking for either a comment, a doctype tag or a generic
tag at the beginning of the doc would do the job, It's odd I did not
came up with that when I was working at it!
