The MTP3 dissector sets "net_src" and "net_dst" to the origin and destination "point codes", or whatever they're called.

Sorry, yeah you're right - OPC and DPC in MTP3 (rather than Calling Party and Called Party in SCCP) is what I was hoping to see in those columns...

if there's some way to transport MTP3 over IP, perhaps the intent was to keep the IP address from getting overwritten

I don't do anything with SS7 over IP personally but a quick Google shows MTP3 can layered over MTP2PA/SCTP or MTP2UA/SCTP or else M3UA (MTP 3 User Adaptation Layer Protocol) can be used layered over SCTP instead of MTP3.

Now on the Ethereal www site the ISUP example capture contains M3UA/SCTP and this displays source/dest IP addresses fine.

The Camel capture shows MTP3/MTP2UA/SCTP and this also displays source IP addresses fine.

I guess the MTP2 and M3UA stuff can stay as is and only the MTP3 dissector needs changes........I'll have a look.
