Hi list, me again, I solved the other problem and have
only 6 bytes left to dissect in order for the optical
protocol to be functional, the first 20 bytes were a
breaze as I could re-use alot of the IP header code,
the alignements were the same but many fields were
unused
I need to add a 6-bit field to a protocol tree, how
can I  add a non-bit-aligned field to a tree.

I have bitmasked a byte, and managed to obtain the 6
bits but can't display it without a bug message. Pls
advice
