Well, there could conceivably be a curses-mode UI, so I don't know whether I'd call it *the* text-mode UI, so we should probably not call the directory "text", but, other than that, having a separate directory for Tethereal makes sense.

That then raises the question "so what's the stuff that remains in the top-level directory after we do that?" Some of it perhaps belongs in libethereal, but other stuff might not; is there code that would be, for example, common to all applications *we* provide that use libethereal, but that, if, as, and when we make libethereal an "official" library with a stable API/ABI, other people's applications might not use?
