Hello!
It would help if we could see the errors you get, but from the top of my
head:
Have you tried using /NODEFAULTLIB:LIBC.LIB with your linker? (Instead
using the library that comes with MSVC)
If this doesn't help, please answer the following questions:
* Are you using MSVC to compile? If so, what version?
* Did you use "nmake -f makefile.nmake setup" and "nmake -f
makefile.nmake" as stated in the documentation?
* Which linker errors do you get?
Erik

Subject: [Ethereal-dev] build ethereal problem
Hello,
I tried to build the ethereal in win32, but
unsuccessfully.
I have downloaded ethereal source and additional
libraries sources, installed cygwin, bison and python.
I did as written in the readme file, but still get a
lot of link errors.
If anybody did it, please help.
Thanks
Vladimir Z.
