I found a paper by the original author of the bacapp dissector :

And while my german is not up to day currently, i can see it
referencing some weirdo bacapp encoding rules.

GRRR whats wrong with either BER or PER?
Why invent a new weirdo encoding type all of a sudden.
:-(



What we need is to make ASN2ETH encoding agnostic ...   and make it
easy to implement and add new encodings for asn1 defined protocols.
