AWESOME feature. So often I start, realize I have done XX or didn't get my timing right or any other number of things that stopped me from getting the capture I want and restarting is such a PITA.

I had to fully read your explanation for "Clear Running Capture" to understand what was going on. I would have understood "Restart capture" completely with those words only, so my preference is clear...]

I do understand what you mean.

However, I think this feature is worth a toolbar icon, and I don't know
which one to use if we name it Restart (but see below).

On the other hand we have two Clear icons on the main window now, one in
the main toolbar and one in the filter toolbar which are doing different
things, which may not be a good idea.

For this reason, I tend to agree with you.

What do other's think of the features name?

Regards, ULFL

P.S: I found an excellent collection (>1200!) of icons released under
LGPL, that fits perfectly into the GTK stock icon layout at:
http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/1637.html, so we have a lot
more choice now (my own skills in art are very limited :-)
