First of all, a bug tracking system seems to be a good idea to me.

After looking at all three, bugzilla or trac seems to be ok, roundup is
a bit odd IMHO.

Some thoughts about trac:

Having two different wiki systems seems to be a *very bad* idea. We'd
have to move the current wiki content to the trac wiki (and close the
moinmoin wiki) or close the trac wiki somehow.

I don't like to have a completely open bug database. Everyone who wants
to report a bug should be required at least to leave an E-mail address,
as almost anytime you want to fix a bug there are some questions you
would like to ask the originator of that ticket about it.

The road map feature won't be of much use for us IMHO, we don't have a
real road map (some would say we don't even have a road ;-)

The time line seems to be a valuable feature, but maybe not the job of
the bug tracker (ok, opinions may vary here).

Some thoughts about bugzilla:

It's just doing what it should do.

Conclusion:

As trac seem to have some more bells and whistles, I'm in favour of
bugzilla as I like the idea of having one tool for one job.

I know some huge projects like GNOME which is using bugzilla, so it
seems to do it's job. I've never heard about trac before and I don't
like the idea of having two wikis.

My vote goes to bugzilla.

P.S: Gerald, is there a way to keep the four typical lists separate
somehow: Bugs/Support Requests/Patches/Feature Requests and is there a
way to move things around, in case a user chose the wrong topic?
