The configure script isn't finding pcre.h (which is 
in /usr/include/pcre/pcre.h), and I can't pass the path with 
--with-pcre=/usr/include/pcre, because that puts another /include on the end.

Any reason not to use pcre-config, rather than just looking for the header?
